Alice Earline Rogers

Earline Rogers, age 91, of Cumming, GA, passed away on Thursday, March 12, 2026. She was preceded in death by her parents, Earl and Ida Bennett; her aunt and uncle who raise her, Joe and Alice Boling; brothers and sisters-in-law, Ralph (Grace) Bennett, Edwin (Kathleen) Bennett, Burrell (Arlene) Bennett; brother-in-law, Clyde Wilson.

She was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church. She worked under Sheriff Donald Pirkle, where she dispatched and cooked meals for the inmates. She retired from the Forsyth County Board of Education after 22 years of service.

She is survived by her loving husband of almost 70 years, Dorsey Rogers; daughter, Sherry and Michael Cochran; grandsons, Jacob Cochran (Madison Terry), Cale Cochran (Madi Griffin), sister, Marian Wilson; nephew, Terry Bennett; other loving family.

A funeral service will be held on Monday, March 16th, 2026, at 11:00 AM, in the chapel of Ingram Funeral Home with Rev. Craig Richard and Rev. Dennis Bottoms officiating. The interment will follow at Sawnee View Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, March 15th, 2026, from 2:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
