Alicia Barnes Pruitt

Alicia Barnes Pruitt, age 55, of Alpharetta, GA, passed away on Saturday, July 5, 2025. She was born on June 12, 1970, in Atlanta, Georgia.

Alicia was a strong, free-spirited woman whose warmth, quick wit, and signature sass lit up every room. She was deeply devoted to her family and lived a life full of heart, humor, and generosity. Her legacy is one of love, laughter, and unwavering support for those she held dear.

She was the proud mother of four children and the cherished grandmother of thirteen grandchildren, each of whom brought immense joy to her life. Alicia was preceded in death by her father, Jerry Joseph Barnes, along with other beloved family members who now welcome her home with open arms.

She is survived by her loving mother, Sara Owens; her children, Tori Pruitt(John), Tiffani Pruitt Beasley (Chad), Travis Pruitt, and Tatum Pruitt; and her treasured grandchildren, Kingston, Lillian, Hazeleigh, Cassidy, Jamison, Elsie, Bennett, Ariel, Johnny, Aryah, Isla, Travis, and Teddy. She is also survived by her sister, Rhonda Sparks (Marty); her longtime friend and companion, Curtis Blalock; and a host of cousins, extended family, and dear friends who will miss her deeply and remember her always.

Services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Monday, July 21, 2025, at Cross Plains Baptist Church, located at 6500 McGinnis Ferry Road, Alpharetta, GA 30005. Pastor Tyler Goode will officiate the service.

The family invites all who loved Alicia to come and celebrate her life, share her stories, and honor the vibrant spirit that lives on in all who knew her.
