Allen Pirkle

Allen D. Pirkle, age 84, of Alpharetta, GA., died December 1, 2015 after a brief illness. Mr. Pirkle is preceded in death by his wife, Mary Vaughan Pirkle; parents, Hargus and Chloe Pirkle and his son, Michael Pirkle. Survivors include his sons, Ricky Pirkle and wife Darlene of Dawsonville, Rev. Bobby Pirkle and wife Betsy of Gainesville; daughters Imogene Densmore and husband Raymond of Alpharetta, Renee Wright and husband Terry of Eatonton, GA; brother, Albert Pirkle of Winder, GA; fourteen grandchildren; forty-one great grandchildren and 9 great great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 4, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at Mt. Calvary Baptist Church where Rev. Pirkle was a member, with Rev. Ray Gober and Rev. Michael Pirkle officiating. Internment will follow at Mt. Calvary Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Thursday, from 10:00 a.m. to noon, and 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.; Friday, from 10:00 a.m. until noon.
