Allen Morris Stripland

Allen Morris Stripland, 75, a lifelong resident of Forsyth County passed away Monday, May 1, 2023. A very proud father and grandfather, Allen was a U.S. Army veteran, having served in Vietnam. He loved taking care of his yard, listening to music and riding his John Deere tractor. Allen was known for being a cut up and rebel, always having a good time. He is preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Ruth Stripland, stepfather, Clinton Carter, and brother, David Stripland.

Survivors include his children, Julie Stripland Epp and her fiancé, Jim King; Casey Stripland, Jill Stripland Bonney and her husband, Steve; grandchildren, Taylor Epp, Ashton Bonney, Ethan Bonney; sister and brother-in-law, Sandra and Robert Ingram; sister-in-law, Paulette Stripland; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be held Monday, May 8, at 3:00 p.m. at the Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bud Sutton officiating.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the service.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
