Alvin Dean Brousseau

Alvin Dean Brousseau, 57, of Gainesville passed away Thursday, February 29, 2024.

Alvin was a carpenter by trade, working in construction for 35 years. He was a member of Pine Crest Baptist Church and an active Boy Scout leader for many years. Alvin is preceded in death by his brother, Don Brousseau, step-sister, Laura Tharpe; step-brother, Tim Lewis.

Alvin is survived by his wife of 37 years, Angela Silvers Brousseau; son, JoshuaBrousseau; daughter, Courtney Brousseau; father, Don Brousseau, Sr.; mother, Connie (Jim) Lewis; sister, Loraine (Donald) Grindle; sister-in-law, Kris Brousseau; mother-in-law, Virginia Silvers; brother-in-law, Chad Silvers and a number of nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

Memorial services will be held Thursday, March 7, at 11:00 a.m. at the Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Winston Mulkey officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday from 4:00 to 9:00 p.m.
