Anderson M. Tallant

Anderson M. Tallant, age 86, known to many as “Bucky” or “Pop” of Cumming, GA., passed away on Friday, September 2, 2022.

Mr. Tallant was a native and lifetime resident of Forsyth County. He was a member of Friendship Baptist Church. Anderson always had a smile and sense of humor. He never met a stranger.  He loved working on old cars, enjoyed music, watching Westerns, collecting knives and hats and spending time with his family and his community of friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, Morris and Wynell Tallant; his former spouse, Helen Potts; son, Ricky Tallant; grandson, Christopher Anthony Tallant.

He is survived by his children, Barbara (Steve) Pitts, Donna (Leon) Cruse, Karon Kalb; his companion of 46 years, Josephine Blanchard and her children; Vera Blanchard, Vickie (Fabian) Howard, Cathy Shipp and Johnny Blanchard; daughter in law, Diane Tallant; brother and sister in law, Rade (Faye) Tallant; a number of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other relatives.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 6, 2022 at Ingram Funeral Home from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
