Anita Louise Salamon

SALAMON, Anita L.:
Dr. Anita Salamon, of Atlanta, Georgia, passed away on November 15, 2012. She earned her Ph.D. in psychology at the University of Florida in 1992. Anita was a psychologist at the Atlanta Vet Center, where she worked primarily with female veterans. She was a beloved mother and wife and is survived by her husband, J. Thrower Starr, her three children, Mary Catherine, Peter, and Patrick Starr. Anita is also survived by her sister, Joan Kne and her family, of Cleveland, Ohio. A memorial service will be held at St. Dunstans Episcopal Church (4393 Garmon Rd., Atlanta) at 12:00 on Tuesday, November 20th, 2012.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Ovarian Cancer Research Fund, Hospice Atlanta, or Mary and Marthas Place.
