Annie Frances Burgess

Annie Frances Burgess, 93, of Cumming passed away Thursday, October 8, 2020. Mrs. Burgess was born February 22, 1927 in Troy, Alabama to the late Judson N. and Annie Lou Green. She has lived in Cumming for the past 28 years, moving here from Douglasville. Mrs. Burgess is a member of Mt. Vernon Baptist Church in Fairburn. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Emmett Moss Burgess and a grandson, Rusty Ramsey.

Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Wanda and Bill Ramsey; grandson, Randy and Julie Ramsey; granddaughter-in-law, Lisa Ramsey; great granddaughters, Riley Ramsey and Coralie Ramsey; sister and brother-in-law, Linda and Ted Boring; cousin, Dr. George Gilman and Carol Watson; nieces, Carole Green, Lisa Jones, Vickie Green; nephews, Jerry Green, Charles (Chuck) Boring, Spencer Boring.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, October 13, at 12:00 p.m. at the Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. G. Gil Watson officiating. Interment will follow at 3:30 p.m. at Mizpah United Methodist Church Cemetery, Kingston, Georgia.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
