Antonia C. Hartman, age 92, of Cumming, GA passed away on Monday, November 2, 2015. "Nina" was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY to parents Angelo and Angela Cavaliere who were from Sicily, Italy. After marrying her husband, William Lloyd Hartman, in 1945 they moved to Georgia. Nina was a mother of three and also fostered several babies in their home. After many years as a professional seamstress she retired from Rich's to start a new chapter in life. She was a member of the Senior Citizens Volunteers and was honored by President George W. Bush as the Senior Citizen Volunteer of the year. Nina was also a member of the Cumming First United Methodist Church. Nina is preceded in death by her husband, William L. Hartman; brothers, Sam and Joseph Cavaliere; and parents, Angelo and Angela Cavaliere. She is survived by her children, Gregory L. Hartman, Angela H. Jones, Antonia H. McKnight; grandchildren, Shane Hartman and Ryan Jones; great-grandchild, Dakotah Hartman, and many other loving relatives and friends. A funeral mass will be held on Wednesday, November 4, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Good Shepherd Catholic Church, 3740 Holtzclaw Rd, Cumming, GA. Interment will follow at Sawnee View Memorial Gardens, 1390 Dahlonega Hwy, Cumming, GA. The family will receive friends at Ingram Funeral Home on Tuesday, November 3, 2015 from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. Ingram Funeral Home & Crematory, Cumming, Georgia is in charge of arrangements.
