Arther Head

Mr. Arther Head, age 78, of Cumming passed away Tuesday, February 11, 2014. Arther was a retired truck driver, having work for Gold Kist for 45 years. He was a member of Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church and is preceded in death by his wife, Dolly Turner Head; a son, Brian Keith Head; a daughter, Cheri Denise Elzey and a brother, Tate Head. Survivors include his son and a daughter-in-law, Neal and Betty Head and Barry Head, all of Cumming; grandchildren, Nathan and Chris Head of Cumming, Daniel and Jessica Elzey of Alpharetta, Andrew and Lauren Head of Kentucky and Tiffany Holmes of Cumming; great grandchildren, Dylan, Lindsey and Sophie; brother and sister-in-law, A.W. and Mae Head of Holly Springs and sister and brother-in-law, Mattie Sue and Tony Sheriff of Gainesville. Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 15, at 11:00 a.m. at Ingram Funeral Home with Rev. David Frix officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church Cemetery.
