Arthur "Blackie" Anderson

Arthur "Blackie" Anderson, age 79, of Cumming, passed away Sunday, January 27th, 2013. Mr. Anderson was a member at Pinecrest Baptist Church. He loved gardening and splitting wood. He is preceded in death by his parents, Homer and Ollie Anderson; son, Michael Anderson; 2 brothers, Oscar, Austell Anderson; sister, Lynelle Samples. Survivors include his wife, Shelba Anderson of Cumming; son, Richard Lanier Anderson; daughters and sons in law, Tracey Lynne (Tracy James) Alford, Debra (Lynn) Gee all of Cumming; 2 grandchildren, Tracy James Alford II, Richard Ray Anderson; 3 sisters, Marcille Chisnell, Nadine Bruice, Marie Houghawll; 1 brother, Leland Anderson. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, January 30, 2013, at 2:00 PM at the Ingram Funeral Home chapel with Rev. Craig Richard and Rev. Dennis Bottoms officiating. The interment will follow at Sawnee View Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at Ingram Funeral Home on Tuesday, January 29, from 4:00 PM until 9:00 PM and on Wednesday, from 9:00 AM until the hour of service.
