Augustine Jeya Prabhu Murthy

Augustine Jeyaprabhu Murthy (Auga), 53, went home to be with the Lord on February 2, 2026, in Atlanta, Georgia. His life embodied the greatest commandment from the New Testament: to love God and love your neighbor as yourself (Matthew 22:37-39).

Born with a heart full of faith, Augustine grew up cherishing family bonds and a close walk with the Lord. He built a loving home in Atlanta, where his warmth touched everyone around him. He leaves behind a legacy of kindness that mirrors Christ's call to love others deeply.

Augustine lived life king-size. His greatest joy was in relationships, loving his family and friends. He was a doting father and his love and legacy lives on through his sons, Aldrick and Jerrick whom he loved dearly.

Please join the family and friends of Mr. Murthy while they celebrate his life and honor his memory at Ingram Funeral Home on Saturday, February 7th, 2026, from 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM.
