Azzie Lou Hamby

Azzie Lou Hamby, age 88, of Cumming, GA passed away at her residence surrounded by her loving family on December 14, 2020. She was born to Jess & Tralis Wallis on June 22, 1932. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 68 years, Herman Hamby, and a brother Charles Wallis.

She is survived by her daughters & sons-in-law, Debbie & Jerry Andrews, Shirley & Jerry Grogan, sisters-in-law, Sara (Brice) Talley, Barbara Hamby & Janice Hamby, grandchildren, Kim & Phillip Booth, Kelly & Marty Payne, Jess & Manuela Grogan, Vicki & Mark Holbrook, and Shelby & Jason Swafford, 10 great grandchildren, and a number of nieces & nephews also survive.

The family requests friends and family gather for graveside services at Sawnee View Gardens on Thursday, December 17, 2020 at 11:00 AM with social distancing encouraged. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to your church or favorite charity in Mrs. Hamby's honor. She will be laid to rest beside her beloved husband of 68 years, Herman.
