Barbara Faye Whittington

Barbara Faye Whittington, age 72, of Cumming, GA, passed away on Thursday, January 30, 2020. Faye was born in 1947, to the late ONeal and Clarice Farris. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend to everyone. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Millen Smith Whittington, Jr; brother, Kenneth Farris, and nephew, Rhett Palmer.

She is survived by her daughter, Lindsey (Jay) Guidry of Cumming, GA; siblings, Larry (Gayle) Farris of Calera, AL, Bobby Farris of Foley, AL, Mary Lynn Brandon of Alabaster, AL, Deborah (Dale) Palmer of Colorado Springs, CO; sister-in-law, Claudia Farris of Calera, AL; grandchildren, Reagan and Madison Guidry both of Cumming; friends, Dan Neal of Foley, AL, Judy Standridge of Marietta, GA; a number of nieces and nephews; along with many other loving friends and relatives.

Funeral services for Mrs. Whittington will be heldSaturday, February 1, 2020, at 11:00 a.m.in the Chapel of Ingram Funeral Home in Cumming, GA. The family will receive friends at the funeral homeon Saturday 10:00 a.m.until the hour of service. Interment will be heldat 1:00 PM Wednesday, February 05, 2020, at Georgia National Cemetery.
