Barbara Jean Freeman

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our sweet Barbara, who lost her brief but courageous battle with cancer on February 12th. Her death leaves a permanent hole in our hearts but the memories we have of her will last forever.

Barbara was born in Champaign Illinois the oldest daughter to Richard & Marian (Wilson) Magnuson & is survived by her Husband of 53 years (Jere), 4 Children (Greg, Kristi, Curt, Brent), Son-In-Law (Clay), Sister (Kay), Brother-In-Law (Phil), Brother (Rick), Niece (Jennifer), Nephews (Scott, Bryan, Todd, Tyler), Grandchildren (Alec, Parker, Mariel, Troy, Max, Presley) & Proceeded in death by her Father (Richard Magnuson), Mother (Marian Magnuson) and Niece (Elizabeth Barrett).

Barbara was an active member of the Dawsonville Blooming Idiots Garden Club & volunteer for the local Art''s Center.

A Memorial & Celebration of her life will be held 11am Thursday (2/18) @ Byar''s Funeral Home.
