Barbara Jean Hughes

Barbara Jean Hughes, 77, a life-long resident of Cumming passed away Tuesday, July 25, 2017. A member of Silver City Baptist Church, Barbara Jean was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who put her family before everything else. She enjoyed gardening and bowling. Barbara Jean is preceded in death by her husband, James Hughes; her parents, Richard and Mattie Stewart; a son, Alan Griffin; 2 sisters and a brother.

Survivors include her granddaughter, Elise Griffin of Greer, SC and several other relatives.

Graveside funeral services will be held Thursday, August 3, at 10:00 a.m. at Sawnee View Gardens.

Ingram Funeral Home Crematory, Cumming, Georgia is in charge of arrangements.
