Barbara Jean Rettinghouse

Barbara Jean Rettinghouse, age 71, of Forsyth County, passed away Monday, December 9, 2013. Barbara was a loving person who was kind hearted to everyone she met. She was Baptist. Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence and Charlsie Johnson; brothers, Billy Johnson and Lynn Johnson. Survivors include her loving husband of 42 years, David Rettinghouse; sisters, Frances Haney, Ruth Tenney, Laura Haygood; brother, Larry Colter; nephews, Robby Haney, Jason Johnson, Jeff Johnson; nieces, Lisa Haney, Brenda Tenney, Debbie Burdette, Sharon Barnett, Marie Johnson, Teresa Parrish, Dianne Haney; great nephew, James Haney; sister-in-law, Patsy Johnson; and many other loved ones and friends. A graveside service will be held Thursday, December 12, 2013 at 2:00 P.M. at Macedonia Memorial Park Cemetery with Rev. Lee Gaddis officiating. The family will receive friends at Ingram Funeral Home on Wednesday from 6 P.M. until 9 P.M., Thursday from 11:30 A.M. until the hour of the service.
