Barbara JoAnn Elrod

Barbara JoAnn Elrod, age 70, born December 28, 1943, has lost her 14 year battle with breast cancer. She was a fighter and fought until November 17, 2014. Barbara was employed at Tyson Foods for 48 years. Barbara is preceded in death by her father Willie Roe "Bill " Elrod; mother, Ina Bell Elrod; brother, Robert Monroe Elrod and sister, Shirley Jean Reid. Survivors include her brothers, Marcus "Buster" (Sue) Elrod of Cumming, GA, Randall Elrod of Cumming, GA; brother-in-law, Loy D. Reid of Cumming, GA and a number of nieces and nephews . Funeral services will be graveside, Wednesday, November 19, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at Coal Mountain Cemetery with Rev Michael Green officiating. Son, Danny Dean will be singing during the service. The family will receive friends at Ingram Funeral Home Tuesday, November 18, 2014 from 2 to 9 p.m. and Wednesday, November 19, 2014 from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Ingram Funeral Home.
