Barbara Sheppard Dixon

Barbara Sheppard Dixon, age 86, of Canton, GA, passed away Tuesday, October 23, 2018. She was born in Atlanta, GA, in 1931 to the late Curtis and Christine Sheppard. Barbara was a member of Indian Creek Baptist Church in Stone Mountain, GA. She enjoyed making arts and crafts. Barbara enjoyed passing the time by listening to her music. She had many hobbies but her favorite was her family. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her loving husband, James Dixon, Sr., and brothers, Barry and Larry Sheppard.

She is survived by her children, James (Denise) Dixon, Jr. and David (Thresa) Dixon; grandchildren, Zachary and Bailey Dixon; along with many other loving relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made to the Alzheimers Foundation of America.
