Benjamin (Ben) Charles Betzer

Benjamin (Ben) Charles Betzer, beloved son, brother, father, and grandfather, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 25, 2025, at the age of 62 in Cumming, Georgia.

Ben was born on December 24, 1962, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, to Terry and Phillis Betzer. He was the oldest of three children and was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Greg; and his son, Max.

Throughout his life, Ben’s deepest passions were nature and the visual arts. As a young boy, he was an enthusiastic Boy Scout, ultimately earning the prestigious rank of Eagle Scout. During his years in Maryland, he attended Laurel High School and later graduated from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County, with a bachelor’s degree in biology and chemistry.

Ben found joy and peace at the beach, especially in the Outer Banks of North Carolina. He could often be found listening to Jimmy Buffett and reminiscing about the many holidays and gatherings spent there with his family.

Professionally, Ben dedicated his career to biomedical sales, most recently serving as Regional Vice President for ONRAD, where he connected healthcare providers with teleradiology services. His work allowed him to travel widely and experience much of the world’s adventures that he loved sharing with his family. Some of their most treasured memories come from the trips he treated them to throughout the years.

His commitment to helping others extended beyond his career. More recently, he became part of North Point Church, where he also served as a co-leader of a men’s support group.

Ben is survived by his daughters, Brianna Kristine Betzer and Emery Elizabeth Betzer; his grandson, Sky Kamuela Christensen; his brother Andrew Betzer, wife Mousumi Bose, and their family; and his fiancée, Susan Moore.

Memorial services will be held in March, followed by a reception (details to come). In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Trees Atlanta, the Georgia Conservancy, or the Atlanta Artists Center, honoring Ben’s lifelong love for nature and the arts.

Ben will be deeply missed by all who knew him, and he loved his children beyond measure.

Ingram Funeral Home, 210 Ingram Ave, Cumming, GA is in charge of arrangements.
