Betty Hansard Sexton

Betty Ruth Hansard Sexton, age 89, passed away on Thursday, December 18, 2025. Betty was a lifetime member of Roanoke Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by parents, Joe and Grace Hansard; her husband, Gene Sexton; daughter, Betsy Lively.

She is survived by her sons and daughter in law, William Joe Hulsey, Tony (Gina) Sexton, Scott Sexton; daughters and sons in law, Wanda (Ron) Shaffer, Michelle (Kevin) Stone; Thad , Shane and numerous other grandchildren; brothers and sisters in law, Louie Hansard, Charles Hansard, Gene (Dianne) Hansard, Harold (Rita) Hansard; sisters, JoAnn Atcheson and Willene (Deenie) Seabolt.

Funeral Services will be held on Monday, December 22, 2025, at 11:00 am at Roanoke Baptist Church with Rev. Clark Watson, Rev. Keith Bagwell and Rev. Daniel Sparks officiating.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, December 21,2025, from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm and on Monday, December 22, 2025, from 10:00 am until time of service at Roanoke Baptist Church.
