Betty Sue Walls

Betty Sue Smith Walls, 76, of Cumming passed away after a brief illness Wednesday, May 10, 2017. She is preceded in death by her husband, James Edmond (Doodle) Walls, her parents, Levi and Lillian Smith; brothers, Jack Smith, Hugh Smith; and a sister, Nettie Lou Smith Parnell. Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Jana and Cornbread Anderson of Cumming; son and daughter-in-law, Jay and Jennifer Walls of Dawsonville; grandchildren, Poley and Isaac Anderson, Olivia and Owen Walls; brothers and sisters-in-law, Joe B. and Jan Smith of Murrayville, Dr. Randy and Cathy Smith of Cumming; sisters-in-law, Elaine Smith of Gainesville and Joan Smith of Dahlonega; brothers-in-law, Grady (Evelyn) Walls of Gainesville and Rupert Walls of Cumming; sisters-in-law, Evelyn Pylant of Marietta and Pat (Norman) Miller of Cumming; Janice Walls of Cumming; several nieces, nephews and other relatives. Graveside funeral services will be held Tuesday, May 16, at 11:00 a.m. at Sawnee View Gardens with Dr. Randy Smith officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday from 1:00 to 9:00 p.m. and Tuesday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
