Bobbie Jean (Cox) McGaha, age 90, of Canton, GA, passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 2, 2026, at her home. She was a devoted wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and great grandmother. Bobbie loved her church families and dedicated herself as a dutiful pastor’s wife. She was always at James’ side as he pastored many churches. She loved her family but mostly loved the Lord. Bobbie will be deeply missed by her family and those that had the opportunity to know her.

Bobbie was preceded in death by her parents, Claude and Lourie Mae Cox; husband, Rev. James McGaha; siblings, Shirley Wilkie, Sue Yother, and Winton Cox.

She is survived by her children, Kayne McGaha of Canton, GA, Joy (Jeff) Smith of Rome, GA; grandchildren, Tiffany (Rodney) Bearden, Hannah Smith; great grandchildren, Ryan, Mackenzie, Carson, Rylie, Tucker; sister, Margie Phillips of Jasper, GA.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, August 5th, 2026, at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Ingram Funeral Home with Rev. Dennis Bottoms, Rev. Lee Gaddis, and Rev. Caleb Byrd officiating. The interment will follow at Macedonia Memorial Park in Canton, GA. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, August 4th, 2026, from 1:00 PM until 8:00 PM, and again on Wednesday, from 11:00 AM until the hour of service.
