Bobbie Parker

Our mother, Bobbie Parker, age 85, of Cumming, GA, went home to be with the Lord on May 27^th, 2024.  She is preceded in death by her husband, Randall Parker; daughter, Donna Parker Butler; grandson, Brandon Parker.

Bobbie came to know the Lord as a young girl when she was saved at Corinth Baptist Church in Gainesville, GA.

She loved her children, grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.  She was known to them as “Mommie Bobbie,” a title that she was proud of.  She showed her love to others by making biscuits at Solo Food Store where she was the deli manager for 30 years.  She was proud of the “Best Biscuit Award” for Forsyth and Cherokee counties.

She was “Mama” to all of her customers.  She had a big and giving heart.  The door to her home was always open to anyone that needed her. She enjoyed the simple things.  Her passion was growing flowers and working in her yard, where she spent her summers.

 Heaven is brighter today because of her sweet presence.

She is survived by her 3 children, Remona (Terry) Cowart of Cumming, Robbie (Stanley) Wilbanks of Cumming, Mark (Kay) Parker of Dawsonville; 7 grandchildren, Jesse Turner, Blake Parker, Beth (Scott) Dobbs, Sam (Samantha) Wilbanks, Matt (Trish) Wilbanks, Clint (Amanda) Cowart, Hanna (Rob) Mixon; 14 great grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; brother, Dennis (Katie) Allison of Gainesville; sister, Lila (Fuller) Allison of Dahlonega

Funeral services will be on Thursday, May 30^th, 2024, at 11:00 AM, in the chapel of Ingram Funeral Home with Rev. Randy Roper, Rev. Danny Ray Martin, and Rev. Terry Cowart officiating.  The interment will follow at Sawnee View Gardens.  The family will receive friends at Ingram Funeral Home on Wednesday, May 29^th, from 11:00 AM until 9:00 PM, and again on Thursday, from 9:00 AM until the hour of service.
