Bobby Frank Echols, age 90, passed away on Saturday,  August 1, 2026. Bobby lived a life that was full of hard work, family, laughter, and memories. He was a proud Army veteran, a husband, a father, a grandfather, great grandfather, and someone who left an impression on everyone who knew him. He had a magic about him that is impossible to describe but when you were around him you felt it.

He was a strong man. Sharp and independent. A man of few words, he always knew when to speak and when to listen. He worked hard his entire life to provide for his family and make sure the people he loved were taken care of. He could make people laugh with a quick comment or a joke, and he had a way of making ordinary and uncomfortable moments more enjoyable.

Family meant everything to him. He loved his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren deeply and was always there when they needed him. He was the person you could call, knowing he would find a way to help. Not only for his family, but for his neighbors as well.

He enjoyed his life. He loved working on cars, his Chevy pickup truck, his tractor, cowboy movies, Johnny Cash, baseball, Cracker Barrel, and a good piece of watermelon. He loved being in his Lay-Z-Boy where he could relax and play solitaire. That chair became one of his favorite places to be.

He was an amazing cook and always enjoyed company, especially being surrounded by his family. His love of work and family was evident through the family businesses he owned throughout his life.

Bobby leaves behind his son, Greg; his daughter, Celeste; his grandchildren, Brett, Brian, Nathan, Mallory, Evan, Samuel, and Penelope; and his great-granddaughter, Olivia; brothers Charles and Gerald.

He lived a life that was meaningful because of the people he loved and the people who loved him. He will be remembered for his strength, his humor, his hard work, and the many memories he gave his family. Even at 90 he was taken too soon.
