Buddy Ervin Pruitt

Buddy Ervin Pruitt, 77, of Gainesville passed away Friday, December 20, 2019. Buddy was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. He was an avid U.G.A. football, Braves baseball and dirt racing fan. A Baptist by faith, he is preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Essie Pruitt.

Survivors include his wife, Vivian Pruitt; son and daughter-in-law, James and Darlene Barnett; daughter and son-in-law, Teresa and Wayne Gibbs; grandchildren, Lauren Gibbs, Amanda Young, Andy Barnett, Kaci Gibbs, Chase Gibbs; 10 great grandchildren; sister, Sybil Collins and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Monday, December 23, at 11:00 a.m. at the Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Danny Bennett, Rev. Allen Boyd and Rev. Robbie Mathis officiating.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. and Monday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
