Cary Douglas Lyle

Cary Douglas Lyle, born June 3, 1945 entered Heaven on Sunday May 17, 2026. Doug is survived by his beautiful and strong wife, Claudia, his daughters, Stephanie, Laurie, and Leslie, his son, Jeff, five granddaughters, three grandsons, and six great grandchildren. Doug was a devoted Jesus-follower and left a solid career in the banking industry to mentor and lead businessmen for over two decades before retiring. He served the country he loved in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam war. His love for travel and motorcycles took him touring all over the United States, usually with the love of his life riding behind him. Doug’s brilliant mind and gifted speech were with him up until his final days, and through much physical pain and suffering, he never lost his passion to see Jesus face to face. That great desire of his has now been fulfilled and forever secured. Doug left clear instructions for those he left behind to rejoice on his behalf as he has entered into the fullness of his inheritance in Christ. We indeed rejoice with him, even as we sadly say goodbye to him on earth. The family will receive visitors from 10-11AM on Tuesday May 26th, 2026with a graveside service at Westview Cemetery in Atlanta at 2PM.
