Casper "Bill" Morgan, 71, of Cumming GA passed away Thursday May 21, 2020. He was with the Bedminster, NJ Police Department for 26 years and retired as a Lieutenant in 1998. In addition, he was a lifetime member of the Union Hook & Ladder Company No. 1 Volunteer Fire Department. A proud veteran of the United States Air Force, Bill earned the rank of Staff Sergeant. He was known for his commitment to law enforcement and was a graduate of the FBI National Academy in Quantico, VA. Bill was dedicated to his family and had a knack for telling funny jokes bringing a smile to the faces of all those who were around him. He immersed himself in many endeavors including HAM radio, target shooting and was an Army Corp of Engineers volunteer. He spent his retirement years traveling throughout the United States with his beloved wife of 48 years, Barbara, in their RV living life to the fullest and enjoying time with his family and friends.
Survivors include his wife, Barbara Morgan; son and daughter-in-law, Craig and Jeanine Morgan; daughter and son-in-law, Lisa and Mark Allocco; daughter and son-in-law Christine and Arthur Murray, grandchildren, Nicholas, Chase and Audrey; sister and brother-in-law, Kathy Zippler and Robin Cherkes; sister Leslie Paige Morgan.
Funeral services will be held Monday, June 1, at 11:00 a.m. at the Ingram Funeral
Home Chapel. Interment will be private at Georgia National Cemetery on Tuesday June 2, 2020. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m.
