Catherine A. Wheelus Buice, age 82, born February 23, 1933 in Luthersville, GA (Meriwether County), passed in peace surrounded by her family on Saturday, October 31, 2015 in Cumming, GA. She is survived by her husband, Bobby G. Buice Sr.; 4 children, Kathy (Terry) Mathis, Deborah (Wayne) Bagley, Sandy (Alexis) Buice, and Bobby (Malissa) Buice Jr.; 8 grandchildren, Deana (Bill) Fagan, Kelly (Stephanie) Mathis, Kristy (Kraig) Cantlin, Bethany (William) Cooke, Julie (Mike) Gayle, Brent Bagley, Corey (Cynthia Ingram) Buice, Bobby Buice III "Tre"; 9 great grandchildren, Will Fagan, Caleb Fagan, Wyatt Cooke, Kaylee Cantlin, Owen Cooke, Cody Gayle, Stella Mathis, Aiden Buice, Caroline Cooke; sisters, Aldine Pierce, Betty (Leroy) Hunter; further survived by nieces, nephews, other family and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, Charlie A. and Maggie M. Wheelus; siblings, Louise, Carl, Fred, Charlene, Novella, Jeanette, Alvin, Benny, and Mae. Catherine "Nanny" will be remembered as a loving mother and grandmother. She gave her heart to Jesus at a young age and devoted her life to serving Him and sharing His love with others. She had a kind and servant heart. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 3, 2015, at 12:00 PM at the chapel of Ingram Funeral Home with Rev. Chris Grinstead and Rev. Donnie Nix officiating. Interment will follow at Sawnee View Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Monday from 12:00 PM until 4:00 PM and again from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM.
