Charles Wendell Bennett

Charles Wendell Bennett, age 84, passed away on August 14, 2025. Wendell was a truck driver and worked with the family construction business. Preceded in death by his parents, John D. and Madge Bennett; wife, Judy Bennett; sister, Charlotte Skinner; brothers, J. T. Bennett, Ford and Jan Bennett, Rickey Bennett.

Survived by his sons, Darrell (Karl) Bennett, Jamie (Michelle) Bennett; granddaughter, Charlie Bennett; brother and sister-in-law, Rev. Danny and Vickie Bennett; sisters and brothers-in-law, Winfred Skinner, Vickie Bennett Venator, Adella Seabolt.

Pall bearers will be Dwight Skinner, Todd Skinner, Jeremy Gazaway, Robin Bennett, Buzzy Bennett, Clyde Dacus; honorary pall bearer, Winfred Skinner; numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, August 17th, 2025, at 4:00 PM, in the chapel of Ingram Funeral Home with Rev. Danny Bennett officiating. The interment will follow at Sawnee View Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, August 16th, 2025, from the hours of 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM, and again on Sunday, from 12:00 PM until the hour of service.
