Charles Scott Dailey

Charles Scott Dailey, 55, of Alpharetta passed away on February 21, 2023, after a long illness. Scott was an adventurous devoted Georgia native, fun loving and kind, always quick to entertain others with his lightheartedness, entertaining antics, and beautiful smile. He enjoyed the outdoors, gardening, music, pets, and wildlife. Charles loved his daughter, Ruby Grace, his family and friends.

Charles attended Milton and Roswell High and Gwinnett Technical Schools. He was in the construction and landscaping businesses supporting Alpharetta, GA and surrounding communities.

Scott was the son of Myra Carole Bedenbaugh Dailey of Alpharetta, GA and the lateNeil Edward Dailey of Dacula, GA. He is survived by his daughter, Ruby Grace Dailey of Alpharetta, GA. He was preceded in death by his former wife, Christine Clorer Williams Dailey. Surviving are his brother, Robert Edward Dailey of Alpharetta, GA and sister, Joan Ellen Dailey Towles (Doyle) of Pasadena, CA. Also surviving are his niece, Meredith Suzanne Dailey and nephew, Parker McKinley Towles of California.

A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, June 10, at 2:00 p.m. at Boiling Springs Primitive Baptist Church, 1200 Birmingham Road; Milton, GA 30004. Inurnment will follow in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the church the hour prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers one may make a contribution to the American Diabetes Association or to a college fund that is being set up for Ruby Grace Dailey c/o Myra Carole Dailey.
