Charles Edwin "Chuck" S III

Dr. Charles Edwin Sayres III (Chuck) passed away on December 20, 2012 at his home in Gainesville, Ga. Chuck was born on May 3, 1957 in Charlotte, N.C. He is preceded in death by his mother Bernice Rust Sayres and father Charles Edwin Sayres, Jr. Chuck graduated from Dunwoody High School in 1976 and graduated Cum Laude from Florida Institute of Technology with a bachelor's degree in Ocean Engineering, master degree in Civil Engineering and recently earned a Doctor of Science in Engineering from Rochville University. Chuck was a loving, caring, extremely intelligent person who loved to help other people. Chuck will be deeply missed. He is survived by his brother Rusty Sayres and his wife Neoma of Alpharetta, Ga. The funeral service will be held at 11:00am on Saturday, January 19th at the New Hope Methodist Church, 4815 Dawsonville Hwy.,, Gainesville, Ga. 30506.
