Charles Everett Amick

Charles Everett Amick, of Cumming GA, age 86, passed away on November 24, 2012. Charles was a graduate of the University of Georgia, class of 1951, where he was a member of Phi Kappa Phi fraternity. He was an avid Georgia fan, continuing to support his "Bulldogs" even in this season. Chuck, as he was known, was loved by many friends and family members, always giving happiness to others. His favorite sport was fishing at his beloved Lake Lanier, where he was a boat owner on Dock 5 for over 30 years. He loved his "Dock 5" family and his fabulous laugh will be missed by many! And if you are ever fishing, just raise your hand and say "good morning, my dear friend"! Chuck is preceded in death by his father, mother and son. Survivors include his loving wife, Wilette Amick and his step son, Edwin McNeal. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or the charity of your choice. Ingram Funeral Home & Crematory, Cumming, Georgia is in charge of arrangements.
