Charlotte Grace Martin was a junior at Horizon Christian Academy, where she had been a student since kindergarten. Over the years, she became known not only for her accomplishments, but for the remarkable character that defined her life—a rare combination of intelligence, discipline, and genuine kindness toward others.
Charlotte was an exceptional student, consistently performing at the top of her class while taking on a demanding academic schedule that included Advanced Placement and dual enrollment courses. She had a natural ability to understand complex ideas, but what set her apart was how she carried that ability—with humility and a desire to help others succeed alongside her.
She was also a dedicated athlete, playing varsity volleyball and soccer at HCA and competing at a high level with A5 club volleyball. Charlotte brought focus and competitiveness to everything she did, but she always paired that with encouragement and respect for those around her.
Beyond academics and athletics, Charlotte was deeply involved in her school and community. She participated in National Honor Society, HOSA, Forsyth County Student Government, and Youth Leadership Forsyth. Through her involvement in HOSA and her time interning in medical clinics, she developed a clear sense of direction for her future. Charlotte hoped to pursue a career as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant, with a desire to one day use those skills on the mission field.
Charlotte didn’t simply participate—she contributed, invested, and led in ways that left a lasting impact.
What truly set her apart was the way she made others feel. She had a maturity beyond her years and a natural awareness of those around her. She could step into a situation, understand it quickly, and respond in a way that brought calm and clarity. People felt seen and valued in her presence.
Her faith was central to her life. It was quietly passionate, personal, and lived out consistently in her actions . It was reflected in how she treated others—with grace, compassion, and humility. She embraced people without judgment and carried herself with a steady sense of peace, joy, and purpose.
Charlotte was deeply loved by her family, her friends, her teammates, and her teachers. Her life made a lasting impression not only because of what she achieved, but because of how she lived.
We find comfort in knowing she is with the Lord, and we hold onto the impact she had on all who knew her. Though her time here was far too short, her life was full of meaning, and her influence will continue to be felt for years to come.
She will be missed beyond words and remembered always.
A Celebration of Charlotte's life will be held Wednesday, May 6, at 1:00 pm at Highlands Church, 433 Canton Highway, Building 400; Cumming, GA 30040. The family will receive friends at the church from 11:00 AM until the time of the service.
