Christine Thornton, age 55, of Cumming, passed away on Wednesday, March 19, 2014. She is survived by her husband of 20 years, Gregory Shannon Thornton of Cumming; sons, Christopher Pawela and Matthew Thornton of Cumming; daughter, Elizabeth Katherine Elia of Italy; granddaughter, Simona Elia. Graveside Service for Mrs. Thornton will be on Saturday, March 22, 2014 at 2:00 P.M. at Sawnee View Gardens.
