Clarines Den Brok, born on June 10, 1946, passed away peacefully, accompanied by her children, after a life defined by courage, devotion, and an unshakeable belief in possibility.
Born in Colombia, Clarines came to the United States with a singular purpose: to ensure that her children — Felipe Den Brok, Carolina Den Brok, Camilo Den Brok, and Christian Den Brok — would have the opportunity to become U.S. citizens. She was relentless in her pursuit of the American dream, and her steadfast belief that their future could be brighter than the one she left behind.
Clarines built her life with quiet strength and extraordinary resolve. Her sacrifices opened doors for the generations that followed, and her determination became a guiding force for everyone who knew her. She will be remembered for her resilience and quiet strength.
She is survived by her four children, her youngest brother, seven grandchildren, and four nieces and nephews. Her legacy lives on in the lives she touched and the opportunities she created through her courage and perseverance.
A service celebrating Clarines’ life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 28, 2026, in the chapel of Ingram Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until the hour of the service on Saturday.
