Colette Allison Zink, 67, a lifelong resident of Cumming passed away Monday, June 15, 2026. Colette was born February 12, 1959 to the late John Henry and Mildred Imogene (Bolton) Allison. She graduated from Forsyth County High School in 1977 and was known for her humorous, lively spirit. Colette loved being at and taking care of her home; cooking and baking. Never having met a stranger, she shared her passions by taking care of others.

Colette is survived by her husband of 35 years, Darrick Zink; sister Pamela Allison Glover; brother Anthony (Angie) Allison; brothers-in-law Kevin (Ada) Zink and Jeff (Elena) Zink; nieces and nephews Jessica Glover (Nathan) McCord, John Edward Glover, Jennifer Glover (Alex) Jaume, Austin Trevor Allison, Spencer Eli Allison, Lindsey Hope Allison, Kelly Drummonds, Andrea Elswick, Ryan Zink and Gleb Mitskevich; great nieces Allison Crump, Lilly Jaume, Mila Jaume, Avery McCord and Zoey Drummonds.

A service celebrating the life of Colette Allison Zink will be held Tuesday, June 23, at 2:00 p.m. at the Cumming First United Methodist Church. The family will receive friends at the church the hour prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Colette’s memory may be made to the Cumming First United Methodist Church Food Pantry, 770 Canton Hwy, Cumming, GA 30040.
