Darrell Wayne Baldwin

Darrell Wayne Baldwin, age 57 of Cumming passed away suddenly Wednesday, April 30, 2025.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Camilla Ann Goddard, infant brother Dwayne Baldwin, grandparents W.T. “Sport” Goddard and Louise Mincey Goddard of Stone Mtn GA, Calvin and Jewell Baldwin of Hanceville, AL. Stepmother Rose Bransford of Jacksonville FL.

Survivors include his father Alford Wayne Baldwin of Jacksonville, Florida, life companion Donna Thompson Baldwin,  son Preston (Meliah) Baldwin, daughter Rachel (Dylan) Bagwell, step grandson Jax Bagwell. Sisters, Holly Harris Haralson, Crystal Harris Malcolm, Connie Slappey, brothers Tyler Harris, Dwight Baldwin, also many uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home, Sunday May 4, from 10 AM to 2 PM . Graveside Service held immediately following at Sawnee View Gardens.

Darrell grew up in the Tucker, Stone Mtn area and graduated from Tucker High School. He worked at Atlanta Gas Light until 1997, when he then started his own HVAC business, Baldwin Services Heating and Cooling. He had many treasured elderly customers in the Cumming, Gainesville area.

Darrell was a favorite among his large family with his unique stories, sayings, and one of a kind wit. When he entered a room, the energy quickly changed into a fun, warm atmosphere that you didn’t want to end. The place he holds in everyone’s heart will be an undeniably treasured forever and always.
