David Trent Murray

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of David Trent Murray, who departed this world on the 10th of December 2023. Surrounded by the love of his family, he transitioned to eternal peace, leaving behind a legacy of warmth, wisdom, and unwavering love.

Born on the 11th of December 1962 to Howard David Murray and Jean Vertrice Trent in Oxford, Ohio, Dave devoted his life to family, work, and the simple joys that brought him immense happiness. A Certified Public Accountant by profession, he excelled in his career with a dedication and precision that earned him the respect of colleagues and clients alike.

As a loving son, he maintained a special bond with his parents, honoring them with the same love and care he bestowed upon his own family. The cherished moments spent with his siblings Micheal Murray, Jill Job, and Anne (Rodney) Williams were a testament to the deep connection they shared.

Above all, Dave cherished his role as a loving husband to Donna, a dedicated father to Danielle (Jake) Braghini, Andrea (Tyler) Garrett, Jeff (Jess) Murray, Kevin Murray, and Tara (Atlas) Mitchell, and a doting grandfather to Halsten, Jack, Millie, Ella, Max, and Ayla. His family was the heartbeat of his existence, and he found immeasurable joy in creating lasting memories with them. His unconditional love and support were constants that guided his family through life's joys and challenges.

Beyond the demands of his professional life, Dave had a passion for the simple pleasures. He had a sweet tooth that couldn't resist the allure of ice cream, and many cherished family moments were spent sharing laughter over scoops of his favorite flavors. Additionally, he found solace in the tranquility of growing blueberries, nurturing a garden that became a testament to his love for nature and the simple joys of life.

Known for his affable nature, Dave had an innate ability to connect with people from all walks of life. He loved engaging in conversations, sharing stories, and imparting wisdom. Always seeking the best in others, he approached every interaction with genuine interest and kindness, leaving a lasting impression on those fortunate enough to know him.

If you desire to donate, the family requests that donations be made to the BYU School of Accountancy, or the American Cancer Society in Dave's name.

As we mourn the loss of this extraordinary man, let us also celebrate the love, laughter, and indomitable spirit that defined Dave's life. May he rest in eternal peace, and may his family find comfort in the cherished memories that will forever echo in their hearts.

With deepest sympathy,
