Deborah L. Mize

Deborah L. Mize, lovingly known as Deb, passed away on March 27, 2026, at the age of 71. Born July 10, 1954 in Cornelia, Georgia, Deborah lived a life full of love, creativity, and deep devotion to her family.

Deborah was married to John Mize, with whom she shared 48 wonderful years of marriage. Together they built a life rooted in love, laughter, and unwavering support. She was a devoted mother to her two daughters, Heather and Aimee, and a cherished mother-in-law to Paul and Steve.

Her greatest joy came from being “Mimi” to her three adored grandchildren, Tristan, Caden, and Emma. She treasured every moment spent with them and filled their lives with warmth, creativity, and unconditional love.

A true flower child, Deborah embraced life with a free spirit and a kind soul. She had a deep love for art and was a talented artist and miniaturist. She created beautiful pieces that reflected her imagination and attention to detail. Her creativity and gentle spirit touched everyone who knew her.

Deborah will be remembered for her loving heart, her artistic gifts, and the way she made everyone feel special. Her legacy lives on through her family who will carry her love with them always.

She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, April 1, 2026, at 1:00 P.M. in the chapel at Ingram Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, March 31, 2026 from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM and on Wednesday, April 1, 2026 from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM with service to follow.
