Dewey (Jack) Turner

Dewey (Jack) Turner, 79, of Cumming, GA passed away Sunday, October 11, 2026. He was preceded in death by his parents, John (Met) Turner and Estelle Hillhouse Turner, 9 sisters and 3 brothers. Jack was employed by Tyson Foods for 50 years and loved hot rods.

Jack is survived by his wife of 61 years., Charlene Hughes Turner; daughter, Stacy Hubbard (Leland); sister, Sue Heard; sisters-in-law, Linda Hood, Evalina Turner, Nervia Lou Turner; brothers-in-law, Junior Roper, Jimmy Dean and Nelson Bennett; beloved cats, Clyde and PK and a number of nieces and nephews also survive.

Graveside services will be held Thursday, October 15, at 2:00 p.m. at Sawnee View Gardens with Rev. Michael Green and Mr. Jimmy Dean officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
