Diane Bennett Hansard

Diane (Bennett) Hansard, 79, a lifelong resident of Forsyth County, passed away December 10, 2022.  Diane was a member of Roanoke Baptist Church in Cumming.  She served her Lord as being a deacon's wife, Sunday School teacher, and prayer warrior for many years.  She loved everyone. She could meet a stranger and have them as a friend in just a few minutes.  She loved and was so proud of her family.  She recently celebrated 60 years of marriage to her beloved husband, Charles Hansard.  She is preceded in death by her parents, Brice and Helen Bennett, her brother, Brice Bennett Jr. brother in laws, Jim Thomas and Alvie Pirkle, and nephew Matt Pirkle.

Diane is survived by her husband, Charles Hansard, daughter and son in law, Angie and Sid Bramblett, son and daughter in law, Adam and Tina Hansard, grandchildren, Ashlee Henry, Abbie and Samuel Adams, Sydney Bramblett, Triston Hansard, and Noah Hansard, great grandchildren, Jed and Charlie-Anne Adams, sisters, Charlene Pirkle, Levon Thomas, Carol and Randall Pendley, Margie and Loyd Pendley, Gloria Corn, and Kathy and Dennis Grogan, sister in law Jean Bennett, and numerous niece, nephews, and extended family members.

The family will receive friends at Ingram Funeral Home on Sunday December 11, 2022 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM. and Monday December 12, 2022 from 1:00 PM until the hour of service.  Funeral Services will be held on December 12, 2022 at Roanoke Baptist Church in Cumming Ga. at 3:00 PM. with Clark Watson, Jamie Sanford and Ruel Martin officiating. Interment will follow at the church cemetery.
