Donald Edward Crocker

Donald Edward Crocker, 87, of Cumming passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 2, 2025.

Mr. Crocker graduated from High School in Alabama and attended Auburn University. He joined the US Air Force as an Officer and served for 11 years including decorated combat service in Viet Nam. He then held Executive roles at Equifax and IBM for 36 years before retirement. Crocker was a talented vocalist and sang in Church choirs for over 60 years including the Atlanta Christian Chorus and First Redeemer Church in Cumming. He was very active at First Redeemer Church and in Veterans Affairs including the American Legion Post 307 and Veterans Alliance Honor Guard, participating on average in over 150 Honor Guard Services per year.

Survivors include his wife of 62 years, Betty Crocker; 2 sons, Don and Maria Crocker and Daniel Crocker; grandchildren, Cassidy Crocker, Sophia Crocker and Gabriel Crocker.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, November 6th, at 11am at the Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Mike Schmid officiating. Interment, with military honors, will follow at Georgia National Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 9am until the time of the service.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to American Legion Post 307, the Veterans Alliance Honor Guard, or First Redeemer Church.
