Donald Gary McGee

Donald Gary McGee, age 72 passed away on Monday October 30, 2023 in his home surrounded by his loving family.

Don was born March 12, 1951 in Cumming, Ga. He was one of three children born to James H and Lorene McGee.  

He enjoyed serving the lord as a children’s minister for over 30 years. He was an avid car enthusiast and enjoyed woodworking. His biggest pride and joy were his wife of 53 years and children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. 

Don was preceded in death by his parents, Jim and Lorene McGee, brother Frank McGee, brother Joe McGee, nephews Tony and Terry McGee and great grandson Jameson McGee.

He is survived by his wife Dianne McGee, son David (Christy) McGee son Todd (Tara) McGee, daughter Aimee (Brad) Disharoon , daughter Wendy (Marty) Graham and niece Tammy (Mark) Lewis; Grandchildren Tyler (Megan) McGee, Kyle McGee, Ivy foster (Dalton Hubbs) Hunter, (Madison) Graham, Cody (Haleigh) McGee, Austin (Maleah) Graham, Cole Foster, Cory McGee; Great Grand Children Lanier Graham ,Hudson Graham, Emerie McGee, Tate McGee, Fisher Graham, Ella McGee Noelle Graham and soon to arrive Finley Hope Graham

Funeral services are scheduled for 1:00 PM Thursday, November 2, 2023 in the Chapel of Ingram Funeral Home with Rev. David McGee & Rev. Todd McGee officiating. Interment will follow in Sawnee View Gardens. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM and 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the funeral home.
