Donald Rickett

Donald Rickett, 89, a lifelong resident of Forsyth County passed away Saturday, May 18, 2024. A Baptist by faith, Donald was a loving family man. He was hardworking and a great provider. He loved gardening and flowers, teaching many how to grow things. Donald is preceded in death by his wife, Wynelle Rickett; a daughter, Margie Tinsley; hissister, Barbara Wood; and a brother, Hulan Rickett.

Survivors include his daughters and sons-in-law, Gail and Milton Moss, Wanda and Doug Grizzle; son-in-law, Kevin Tinsley; brothers and sisters-in-law, Benny and Wanda Rickett, Ronnie and Rita Rickett; sister-in-law, Patsy Rickett; 7 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren (and one on the way), 1 great great grandchild and a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Graveside funeral services will be held Thursday, May 23, at 3:00 p.m. at Sawnee View Gardens with Rev. Larry Vaughan officiating.
