Doris Marie Garrett

Doris Marie Garrett, age 94 of Jefferson, Georgia passed away Monday, January 26, 2009 at Chestnut Ridge Nursing Home, Cumming, Georgia. She was a 65-year member of Big Creek Baptist Church.

Survivors include daughter, Margie Boggs of Jefferson, GA.; brother, Reid Abernathy of Burlington, NC.; sister, Mae Shelton of Danville, VA.; four grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

Graveside Funeral Services will be held 1 p.m. Wednesday, January 28, 2009 at Mt. Pisgah Methodist Church Cemetery in Alpharetta. The family will receive friends at Byars Funeral Home from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday, January 27, 2009.
