DouglasTurk Taylor, 32 of Savannah, GA, passed away December 16, 2025.

Turk is survived by his parents, Doug and Lori Taylor; mother, Andrea Taylor; fiancé, Kasten Robertson; paternal grandparents, Hilt and Sherry Taylor; maternal grandfather, Mike Wheeler; blended grandparents, Ben and Margaret Newman; siblings: Wyatt and Olivia Taylor and Sophia, half siblings-Dillan Moss & Victoria Taylor, Nick and Vashti Pirtle family, Meg and Cody Vaughan family, Meredith and Ethan Rivers family. This also includes many loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Turk is also survived by lifelong friends that he considered his brothers. Though not bonded by blood, they were brothers in every way that mattered. Their friendship was built by loyalty, shared laughter, and an unbreakable bond that time cannot weaken. Side by side, through life’s highs and lows, they chose each other as family proving that brotherhood is sometimes born not into family but into the heart. Turk is survived by Chandler Watts, Danny Mattis, Keith McCroan, Brandon Sartain, and Dillon Blackwell.

A service of honoring Turk’s life will be held at 3pm Saturday, December 27, 2025 at Salem Baptist Church in Gainesville, GA with Rev. Taylor Cole officiating. Private Inurnment will occur at a later date with immediate family and friends. The family will receive friends following the service in the church fellowship hall.
