Douglas "Brent" Treadwell

Douglas “Brent” Treadwell, 62, of Forsyth County passed away on July 28, 2026, into the arms of his Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. He was born December 8, 1963, in East Point, GA. He is preceded in death by his Father, Melvin Douglas Treadwell and his life partner of over 30 years, Dana Lynn Johnson. Brent is survived by his mother, Marilyn Hampton (Earl); brothers, Troy Shane Treadwell, Brian Douglas Treadwell, and Jesse Matthew Treadwell (Holly); children, James Brent Treadwell and Amber Nichole Hansard (Austin); grandchildren, James Brent Treadwell Jr, Ally Lynn Hansard, Lucy Grace Hansard and Tate Austin Hansard. He also leaves many extended family members and friends who will cherish his memory.

Brent took great pride in construction of residential and commercial buildings. His passion for carpentry showed in his strong work ethic throughout his career and life. Later, he was a founding partner of All Ride LLC, in Forsyth County, where he was employed at time of his death.

Outside of work, Brent found joy in the simple things. He loved fishing, boating, gardening, woodworking and spending time on Lake Lanier where he lived for 26 years. He will be remembered for his hard-working spirit, practical wisdom and the love he had for his family. They were #1.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, August 7, 2026, at 2:00 pm at Ingram Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Sawnee View Gardens.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home starting at 11:00 am until the time of service.
