Eddie Ruth Silvers

Eddie Ruth Silvers, age 83, of Alpharetta, passed away on Thursday, April 9, 2015. Eddie Ruth was a member of Buckhead Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her parents, Doc and Viola Hardeman; brothers, Hubert Hardeman, W.C. Hardeman, Harold Hardeman and sister, Geraldine Echols. Eddie Ruth is survived by her loving husband of 65 years, Jake Silvers of Alpharetta; son and daughter-in-law, Cary and Karen Silvers of San Antonio, Texas; daughter and son-in-law, Cathy and Mark Plavcan of Alpharetta; sisters and brothers-in-law, Aleene Stewart of Roswell, Jean and James Moore of Knoxville, Tennessee, Claudette and Virgil Horton of Cumming, Irma Miller of Roswell; sister-in-law, Dora Hardeman of Roswell; grandchildren, Clay, Chad, Brittany; nieces, nephews and other loving relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, April 12, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Ingram Funeral Home with Dr. James Caldwell officiating. Interment will follow at Arlington Memorial Park Cemetery in Sandy Springs. The family will receive friends on Saturday, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Ingram Funeral Home & Crematory, Cumming, Georgia is in charge of arrangements.
