Edith Lorene Pruitt

Edith Lorene Pruitt, age 89, of LaGrange, GA., formerly of Buford, GA., passed away peacefully at her home on Tuesday, February 3, 2026.She was a member of Roanoke Baptist Church. Edith was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Laura Bobo; her husband, Gene Pruitt; her siblings, Lawrence Bobo, Edna Lewis, Mary Cagle, Clifton Bobo, Donald Bobo and Hoyt Bobo. Edith was devoted to her family and moved to join them in LaGrange after over 50 years in Canton and Buford. She busied herself gardening and working in the yard.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Kathey and Neal Sandiford; grandson, Todd Sandiford; brother, Robert Bobo and several neices and nephews.

Funeral service will be held on Sunday, February 8, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Clark Watson officiating.

Interment will follow in Sawnee View Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, February 7, 2026, from 12 noon until 8:00 p.m. and on Sunday, February 8, 2026, from 12 noon until time of service.
